Beta Gamma Sigma at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society for business students. The Society is dedicated to (1) encouraging and honoring academic achievement in the study of business, and (2) fostering personal and professional excellence. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is widely recognized as the highest scholastic honor a business student can achieve.
In 1975, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater established a Collegiate Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma. Each year, eligible students in the College of Business & Economics are invited to join. Only juniors and seniors in the top 10% of their class—and graduate students in the top 20% of their graduating class—are eligible. Invitations are sent during the Spring semester, and prospective members are inducted in a ceremony at the end of the semester.
